What you will do:
Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
Follow directions given in layouts, drawings and work orders
Fuse materials together to build metal parts or equipment
Produce quality workmanship on finished products
Clean and inspect parts for defects
Maintain welding equipment
Your qualifications:
Alberta Journeyman Ticket in Welding or Red Seal Certification
CWB FCAW/MCAW All Position Ticket
Experience in metal core and flux core welding
Experience operating overhead cranes to move large scale products
Previous crane and rigging certification
What you bring to the position:
In-depth knowledge of all tools and equipment
Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others
Time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work with limited supervision
Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Excellent safety record

Night Shift, Monday – Thursday 4:00pm – 2:30am
Weekend Shift, Friday – Sunday 6:00am – 6:00pm
Day Shift – 4 10 hour shifts or 5 8 hour shifts with breaks
Night shift – four 10 hour shifts including two 15 minute paid breaks and a 30 minute unpaid lunch break
Weekend shift – three 12 hour shifts including two 15 minute paid breaks and a 30 minute unpaid lunch break
