Weldco-Beales Manufacturing designs and manufactures specialized heavy equipment attachments for the construction, forestry, mining, scrap recycling, road maintenance and resource industries throughout Canada, the USA and internationally. Weldco prides itself on providing a great employee experience where safety is a way of life. Weldco-Beales is currently recruiting a Journeyman Welder for the Edmonton manufacturing team. This position will report to the General Foreman.

What you will do:
Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications

Follow directions given in layouts, drawings and work orders

Fuse materials together to build metal parts or equipment

Produce quality workmanship on finished products

Clean and inspect parts for defects

Maintain welding equipment

Your qualifications:
Alberta Journeyman Ticket in Welding or Red Seal Certification

CWB FCAW/MCAW All Position Ticket

Experience in metal core and flux core welding

Experience operating overhead cranes to move large scale products

Previous crane and rigging certification

What you bring to the position:
In-depth knowledge of all tools and equipment

Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others

Time management, organizational and problem-solving skills

Ability to work with limited supervision

Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Excellent safety record
