Overview
We are looking for Journeyperson and Apprentice Pipefitter’s that can work on two projects in Whitecourt, Alberta.
This position is based in Whitecourt, AB and is expected to run from August until the beginning of September 2022 with a few days off between projects. Camp and travel pay are provided per rotation up to 5 hours away.
What would you be doing?
Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the type of pipe and tools to use and lay out the sequence of tasks.
Draft detailed sketches for pipe and equipment fabrication and installation, as required.
Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal, plastic and fiberglass pipes, valves, and fittings.
Join pipe sections, related equipment and secure in position.
Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks.
Maintain and repair of piping systems.

Dual ticket in Welding, Millwright, or Ironwork an asset
You can read and understand complex instructions
Ability to do careful and rigorous work

Journeyperson employee rate: $45.18 Journeyperson DSP rate: $49.23
12 hour shifts with 4 hours overtime.
Employee overtime is paid out at time and a half.
Journeyperson DSP overtime rate: $67.01.
up to 5 hours mob/demob pay for the start and end of the project.
2 hours daily travel pay.
Other important details
This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
