We are seeking sixteen (16) Journeyperson Pipefitters to help support Cote Gold Piping and Electrical Installation in the Chester and Yeo County along Highway 144 (between Sudbury/Timmins – Ontario)

Job Summary: The JM Pipefitter will install steel structures and supports with some welding based on engineered drawings, and other duties as assigned.

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Complete job hazard assessment and put mitigation strategies into place on a task-by-task basis
  • HDPE Experience needed for Underground Utilities
  • Take direction and perform tasks with minimum supervision
  • Read engineered drawings and specifications to lay out the work
  • Safe rigging and hoisting of components into position utilizing manual hoisting devices, cranes, and other mobile equipment
  • Determine materials required for each job and able to effectively plan task sequence
  • Follow all safety requirements and report any unsafe working conditions according to Company Policy
  • Duration 4 months with possibility of extension/11-12 hour days
  • Shift rotation – 2 weeks on 2 weeks off
  • Camp location – TBC
  • Work location: 175 km NW of Sudbury, 125 km SW of Timmins, Ontario

Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in an industrial/construction work environment.

  • Registered red seal Journeyman Pipefitter
  • HDPE experience

Resident of Ontario

  • Safety Certification Required:

o WHMIS 2015

o Fire Extinguisher Training

o Fall Protection

o AWP

o Rigging and Hoisting Cert
