We are seeking (1) Journeyperson Welder to support the Denison Field Test Facility Project at Wheeler River.

Scope of Responsibilities:
Complete job hazard assessment and put mitigation strategies into place on a task-by-task basis

Take direction and perform tasks with minimum supervision

Read engineered drawings and specifications to lay out the work

Direct a small crew to erect steel

Safe rigging and hoisting of components into position utilizing manual hoisting devices, cranes, and other mobile equipment

Able to weld components in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions

Determine materials required for each job and able to effectively plan task sequence

Complete safe demolition of existing steel structures

Follow all safety requirements and report any unsafe working conditions according to Company Policy

Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in an industrial/construction work environment.

Registered Journeyman Welder

Safety Certification Required:
WHMIS 2015

Fire Extinguisher Training

Fall Protection

CWB all position welding certificate

AWP

Rigging and Hoisting Cert
