Overview
Uni-Fab, a global provider in custom fabrication of aluminum, steel and stainless-steel products has an opening for a Jr. Estimator – Metal Fabrication.
The Jr. Estimator is responsible for supporting and assisting the Account Managers with the compilation of quotes.
Job Duties
· Provide quotes to the Account Managers by gathering labour and materials through proposals, manufacturing drawings, specifications, and related documents
· Collect and gather the information that will be used by the Account Managers
· Assist with the release process of projects to the Advance Planning Group
Requirements
· Ability to read 2D and 3D manufacturing drawings
· Materials take-offs from drawings
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to collect, track and analyze data
· Knowledge of metal fabrication process (ie. saw cutting, welding, machining)
· Experience with Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, Outlook
