JBS Equipment is a rapidly growing agricultural manufacturing company based in beautiful Mission, BC. We recently moved into our third custom built facility that has allowed our production capacity to nearly triple. We are looking to add more Junior Welder/Fabricators to the team. These positions are available due to the consistent growth of the company.

For all those early risers out there, we offer a day shift that is Monday to Friday 6am to 2:30pm. For all you night owls, we offer an afternoon shift that is Monday to Thursday 2:30pm to 1am (with a $2.00/hour shift premium).

WHAT YOU HAVE TO OFFER:

  • Ability to read, understand, and follow working drawings
  • Experience fitting and welding steel components in various positions with GMAW, FCAW, and MCAW
  • Commitment to working safely and accurately while following a strict production schedule
  • Ability to work as part of a team but also independently when required
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Personal small rolling toolbox with basic hand tools (list provided in the interview). JBS will pay to repair or replace tools worn out on the job. We also offer a tool purchasing program.
  • Eagerness to learn, develop and grow in all areas of welding and fabrication
  • Ability to stand, kneel, lift, and bend on a regular basis.
  • Willingness to commute to Mission, BC. (Note: The industrial park where our shop is located is not accessible by public transportation)
