Metro Compactor Service Inc. is Canada’s leading expert in Waste and Recycling Equipment solutions. We are looking for welder/fitters (MIG) with torch cutting experience for a long-term permanent position at our on-site facility. Company benefits outlined below.

Qualified candidates will be invited to perform a weld test.

JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Using (MIG) welding and torch cutting to repair waste and recycling equipment
  • Experience MIG welding and Torch Cutting
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools
  • Ability to read and build off shop drawings
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Operate machinery – shears, press brake, punch, saw, drill
  • Read and use measuring tape
  • Ability to work independently and work well in a team
