We are currently seeking Junior Welder/Metal shop production personnel. This position is located out of our Surrey shop. This is a full-time permanent, Monday to Friday day shift position.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in the production area with various hand tools and welding equipment
  • Safely operate power tools including, MIG welders, saws, presses, and punching equipment for metal fabrication
  • Welding metal door frames
  • Prepare product for assembly and shipping
  • Ensure the work area is clean and safe
  • General production duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to read shop drawings
  • Ability to read prepping diagrams
  • Ability to perform grinding, buffing and related functions
  • Safety oriented
  • 1+ year welding experience
  • Forklift operating experience an asset but not needed
