Overview
Primoris Canada is an infrastructure contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries and include services covering tailings and hydro-transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, industrial facilities multi-discipline construction and maintenance, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services.
SUMMARY
A CCO machine operator supervises the operation of the automated CCO welding machine. They are also responsible to ensure that the machine is loaded or in the process of being loaded at all times and that the materials to be loaded on the machines are prepped properly.
JOB DUTIES
Tasks
Supervise operation of automated CCO welding machine
Buff/grind pipe using grinder
Operate overhead crane
Rig spools and materials and equipment
Move materials and equipment using manual lifting/handling
Move materials and equipment using pallet jack
Move materials and equipment using forklift
Sweep/clean fabrication shop
Organize tools and materials as required
Confined space watch
Other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience working on an industrial site is considered an asset, but not required
CSTS-09 or CSTS-20
Respirator Fit Testing
Confined space entry and monitor ticket
Overhead crane and rigging ticket/training
Counter balanced forklift ticket
Must be physically able to lift 50lbs
Able to work well in a team environment
Pre-employment alcohol and drug testing is a condition of employment.
