About You:

Learning is on the job and hands on for the candidate with a good aptitude and mix of skills. You enjoy working with your hands, using machinery and various tools, and being a key part of the process of turning raw steel into great finished product.

You may have past industry experience and transferable skills that can translate to success in this opportunity: metal fabrication, welding, construction labour, machine shop general labour, experience using drill press, grinders, and metal belt sanders. As you progress through the levels of training and learning, you will ultimately become a Master Barmaker.

  • has a valid driver’s license

Must have reliable transportation as the work location is not serviced by public transit. Steel toe boots are required. Other PPE is supplied.

Starting wage $21.00/hr with wage progression up to $29.50/hr over 4 years

Hours of work per Averaging Agreement totalling 40 hrs/week – Monday to Thursday 5:30 am – 2:30 pm and Friday 5:30 am – 12:00 pm. No weekends or statutory holidays.
