Sytec Manufacturing Ltdis a leading sheet metal enclosure manufacturer located at 7815 – 127 Ave Edmonton, AB. We are seeking an indi­vidual to fill the following full-time dayshift position:

EXPERIENCED WELDER

The successful candidate will be able to weld steel, SSTL and Aluminum in thickness from .059” to .104”. The applicant must be skilled in fitting, blue print reading, GTAW and GMAW processes. In addition to the skill set listed above a strong work ethic is required. We are going to have new Laser welder and looking for a person to train or experienced laser operator.

  • Basic TIG welding / tacking
  • Strong computer skills or willingness to learn
  • Familiarity with stainless steel
  • Familiarity with CNC machines and programs
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure CNC machines are constantly running
  • Ability to read tape measures, depth gages, micrometers and other basic measurement tools
  • Must remain flexible and adaptable to changing situations and customer requirements
  • Exceptional attendance and punctuality
  • Prolonged standing, reaching, bending, hammering and lifting
  • Ability to work with and communicate well with others
  • Able to work off shift and overtime as necessary

Salary: Journeyman Rate: $34.00.

$28+ based on experience

Hours: 44 Hours per week:

7:00am – 4:00pm Monday to Thursday and 7:00am – 3:00pm on Fridays Evening shift starts 3:30 pm and 44 a week. Position would requires to work at evening shift if needed.
