THIS IS AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION

Job Description:

  • Perform lawn care work when needed, including the use of bush-hog, zero-turn mower, push mower, and weed eater.
  • Provide assistance to welders and fabricators and help in the fabrication shop.
  • Assist in field and labor work, and help in construction work, demo work, shut-down maintenance work, hang iron, dirt work, perform carpentry work, etc.
  • Learn a craft.

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Valid driver license (IDs are NOT a driver license)
  • Clean criminal background history and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass hair-follicle test
  • Live local to the southeast Texas area
  • Must be willing to learn a craft and put effort and own time in this regard. Crafts include, but not limited to: welding, steel fabrication, heavy equipment operation, construction, carpentry, remodeling, industrial maintenance, CAD, CNC plasma table operation, etc.

Desired Skills:

  • MATH SKILLS
  • Operate lawn care equipment
  • Ability to read tape measure
  • Some welding skills
  • Some experience operating acetylene and/or plasma cutting torch, and band saws
  • Basic ability to read blueprints
  • Good computer skills

Pay: $10.00 – $14.00 per hour
