Acoustic Panels Canada (APC) is looking for a Lead Hand / Senior Fabricator for our growing team.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Lead Hand / Senior Fabricator leads the team through the panel fabrication lifecycle to ensure a steady flow of inventory. The ideal candidate will be be a self-starter who is not afraid to pitch in and get the job done. Working within a streamlined panel fabrication process, the Lead Hand guides and encourages the team to meet and exceed weekly targets.
Responsibilities
- Fabrication and assembly of acoustic panels
- Lead, coach, and develop team of panel fabricators
- Oversee fast-paced production flow
- Ensure acoustic projects are delivered on time & within quality specifications
- Manage inventory of production supplies and materials
- Maintain safe and organized work environment
- Ensure production meets – and has capacity to exceed – weekly targets
Required Experience & Expertise
- Solid understanding of woodworking, construction, and assembly
- Experience working with many different construction materials – insulation, wood, plastic, and metal
- Experience with woodworking equipment – panel saw, compound mitre saw, upholstery stapler, etc.
- Experience with warehouse equipment – forklift and skid steers

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
