Overview

looking for 1 Senior Welder that will turn into the Welding Foreman in about 6 months but even as the Foreman, the duties will still include a lot of welding along with helping, coaching and training others.

In this position the person will be doing mostly MIG welding, Out of position, Aluminum and TIG experience is a plus. Should to be able to straighten frames with a torch within ± 1/64” over any 48” span. Our products are engineered to order so welding tasks will vary based on the types of projects in house. Most items will be close tolerance structural machine frames of varying sizes and designs.

Shift: Mon – Fri 6am-2:30pm

Pay Rate: $24-28/hr DOE

Duration: Temp to hire

Skill Requirements

  • Formal training through a vocational or technical school preferred
  • Relevant Welder or Welding Fabricator certifications preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience doing structural and out of position welding.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, physical stamina and technical skills.
  • Work independently with little supervision.
  • Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, cut lists, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures.
