Summary:
EMC is currently seeking a Licensed 307A Steamfitter/Pipefitter Journeyperson to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate knowledge of various piping system components for measuring, cutting, threading, grooving and bending of pipes, valves and fittings
Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes
Hydrotest and install fabricated pipe spools within structural steel modular assemblies, adding designed supports as required
Maintain all tools, work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion
Read and interpret client and company supplied construction fabrication drawings and specifications
Job Qualifications:
Must possess 307A license
Proven experience as an Journeyperson
Knowledge of health and safety guidelines when dealing with dangerous equipment or chemicals
Good numerical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Ability to work in shifts and/or overtime
Welding and/or Brazing experience is beneficial
