Dependable Truck & Tank Limited was founded in 1975 and is, as it began, a family operated business. Our innovative design and engineering concepts allow us to manufacture cargo tanks, trailers and emergency vehicles to our client’s specifications. We manufacture versatile cargo tanks and trailer tankers for the distribution of petroleum products and other bulk related products. We also manufacture tankers for municipal maintenance applications. Our custom tanks range in size from 2000 liter truck-mounted units to 60,000 liter B-train units.

The position requires machine operator/aluminum fabricator with previous experience working in a custom production and manufacturing environment that has 1 – 3 years experience with operating machinery and MIG welding (preferably aluminum).

Responsibilities:

  • Welding aluminum with (MIG), using machines such as knuckling machine, metal dishing machines, flanging machines, large metal roller, brake presses, shears, grinders, bevellers, torches & hand plasmas
  • Read blueprints & apply drawings to custom fabrication
  • Build bulkheads and skins for highway tankers
  • Material handling with forklift
  • Assisting tank builders with day-to-day activities

Skills:

  • Work from blueprints and raw materials to finished parts that can be welded together into complete products
  • Candidate must be flexible, reliable and punctual
  • Previous experience working on custom pieces and be comfortable working with aluminum considered an asset

Tools, Steel-toed safety boots, Gloves, Welding helmet
