Overview

Industrial Pixel VFX specializes in providing 3d image and data capture solutions used in multiple industries where, aerial drone systems, navigation tools, remote controlled vehicles, and portable lidar survey systems are required. We are looking for someone who can design and implement “out of the box” solutions.

The right candidate must have the required skills and experiences, live in the lower mainland, ability to legally work in Canada, and be hands on, and have the experience of leading a team to design and achieve tangible results . If you are adaptable, driven to produce and understand the importance of “end-user” is the key to success, this opportunity may fit your skill sets.

Preferences will be for those that have RC experience (cars/boats/drones), industrial survey equipment and robotics.

Responsibilities:

-Operating basic machine and 3D printing tools to design, test and fabricate (hands on approach)

-Leadership of a small multidisciplined team through strong work ethic, sharing knowledge to fellow team members, along with learning to ensure a cross-trained team

-evaluation skills to select appropriate team members based on the needs of defined projects

-Work with existing mechanical/electrical systems with a view of project completion

-Keeping detailed and accurate technical documents and maintenance reports

-Maintaining a clean and efficient work space

-Analysis of engineered systems and optimization of components

Qualifications:

-Minimum of 5-year experience in a manufacturing/fabrication environment

-Grade 12 diploma or ideally a Technical diploma/degree

-Experience in design, fabricate, repair and service of mechanical and electrical systems.

-Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity

-Hardworking with strong organizational and time management skills

-Ability to operationalize real-life assigned plans

-A strong sense of commitment and integrity

-A willingness to learn and continually improve

-Design skills using AutoCAD and/or Solidworks with experience using 3d printers

-Bringing vision in design and then implementing
