Overview
EXCEL is seeking a maintenance combination welder for one of our job sites around the Baton Rouge, LA area. This job is a permanent position working (4) 10 hour days. the optimal candidate will use specialized welding equipment to construct, maintain, and repair metal parts, such as pipes. The job duties of a combo welder also include preparing materials, reading technical schematics, making precise measurements, and welding components in a variety of space constraints.

Pay: $31.00 – $33.00 per hour

Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
Application Question(s):
- Are you ok to not only weld, but assist pipefitters, boilermakers and the millwrights when there is no welding to be done?
Experience:
- Stick welding: 3 years (Preferred)
- TIG welding: 3 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- TWIC Card (Required)
- ARSC Basic Orientation Plus (Preferred)
