Position Description:
We seek a dedicated individual who will be responsible for performing various mechanical maintenance and repair work including the inspection and maintenance required for rotating machinery and plant equipment. The mechanic will be responsible for the mechanical alignment of pumps, fans, replace motors, repair screw conveyors, rebuild or change gearboxes, install and modify pipelines, and assist in the modification and addition of plant projects as well as preventative maintenance work orders.

Position Requirements:
To qualify you must have at least five (5) years’ experience in the repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment. A High School Diploma or GED, formal technical or apprenticeship training is desired. The mechanic should be able to interpret mechanical drawings and must be capable of performing all welding scopes to include stick, Tig, MiG and be able to become code qualified for boiler repairs per National Board specs. Strong leadership and motivational skills, valid driver’s license, work in close quarters and confined spaces, climb ladders and structures, tolerate heights, tolerate high temperatures, and lift up to 50 pounds is also required. Must be available to work overtime, occasionally weekends, nights and holidays. Must be available to be On Call.
