Overview

10Hour shifts on:

Thursday and Friday Evenings – Afternoon (10hr shift)

Late Saturday start day shift (after 10/11am) and Sunday Day shift

1.1.1. Have a basic knowledge of industrial electricity

1.1.2. Perform electrical maintenance, including Installment or replacement

1.1.3. Performs maintenance on bearings, drive chains, and conveyor systems

1.1.4. Disassemble, clean, reassemble equipment including fans / pumps

1.1.5. Repair and clean old equipment

1.1.6. Maintain and repair for plumbing fixtures

1.1.7. Fabrication – welding of tooling and fixtures

1.1.8. To operate a fork lift truck (if properly licensed) as required.

1.1.9. Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and guidance

1.1.10. Ability to troubleshoot and work with tight deadlines

1.1.11. If in doubt about proper functioning of equipment, inform Supervisor or Manager immediately.

1.1.12. Ensure that all activities are properly logged and that requisitions for the replacement of all materials used are generated and forwarded to the Maintenance Manager

1.1.13. To follow all safety procedures including Lock-Out and Pre-Start Inspections.

1.1.14. To maintain good housekeeping standards throughout the plant.

1.1.15. Reports all unsafe or adverse working conditions to supervisor, management or a member of the Joint Health and Safety Committee

Salary: From $24.00 per hour

  • Welding: 3 years (preferred)
  • Industrial maintenance: 3 years (preferred)
