Connext Staffing is currently recruiting for Fabricators within Manufacturing

  • Our Fabricator 1-5 positions have a wage range of $18-$35 per hour based on years of experience and a skills assessment during the interview stage. Increases are then reviewed throughout employment.

The Fabricator is responsible for reading and analyzing blueprints and engineering drawings to correspond with the required metal cuts. The Fabricator will be required to use a variety of light and heavy machinery to make the necessary cuts and to assemble the fabricated components into complete units. Training provided.

Essential functions for this role are:

  • read blueprints and/or engineered drawings to assess materials needed and plan the sequence of tasks to fabricate products.
  • Operate light machinery, including grinders, sanders, cordless drills, and a variation of saws.
  • Install fabricated components in the final product.
  • Monitor quality of fabrication.
  • Adhere to all safety standards and SOP’s.
  • Work in accordance with documented procedures and complete all applicable records

If you have the following experience, qualifications, and skills, we want to hear from you!

For all levels of Fabricator:

  • Manual dexterity and the ability to accurately read a tape measure.
  • Basic mechanical and math skills
  • Knowledge of or experience with hand and power tools
  • High school education or GED equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of fabrication and asset

Additional Qualifications for Fabricator levels 2,3, 4 & 5:

  • Advanced knowledge of fabrication
  • Basic welding knowledge and skills
  • Basic knowledge of rigging and overhead cranes

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $18.00-$35.00 per hour
