The Role:
Entegris is currently seeking a talented and motivated Manufacturing Technician (Welder) to join its Refurb production team in Burnet, TX!
This person would work independently on product component fabrication using weld equipment. Additional responsibilities include test and inspection of various components needed for multiple product lines, as well as other tasks as directed. The person in this role would take direction from a team lead and report directly to the Production Manager. Burnet Specialty Chemical Operations is a dynamic and often fast paced environment where safety is paramount. This candidate would be someone who enjoys being part of a strong team, is dedicated to continuous improvement, and has some experience safely working with hazardous materials or processes, while maintaining a focus on meeting and exceeding production goals.
$5,000.00 Sign-on Bonus Offered!
$2,500 after 90 days, $2,500 after 180 days.
In this role you will:
Support development of new in-house weld process for product components using an orbital welder.
Support production demands of welded components including manufacture, data tracking, quality checks, packaging, and shipping to third party vendors.
Support test and inspection requirements for various assembly parts as needed.
Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
Experience in orbital welding preferred.
Safely operate and maintain weld and test equipment proficiently.
Follow Entegris qualified welding programs, work instructions, and engineering drawings.
Experience with Grinders, band saws, facing machines and tube cutters.
Mechanically inclined, ability to work with hand tools and fixtures.
Attention to detail, organized, good time management skills.
Manufacturing background, experience processing and completing work orders per a production schedule.
Chemical, gas or semiconductor experience strongly preferred.
Familiarity with ISO 9001/14000, OSHA 18000 environments.
Lean, Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Six Sigma experience.
Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office applications (SAP experience is a plus).
Desire to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs daily; and 70lbs infrequently.
Ability to perform visual checks and handle highly hazardous material responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Ability to attain respirator certification.
