Overview
Lone Star Docks seeks a shop & field welder for fabrication, construction, and fleet maintenance.
Duties include building, remodeling, and repairing boat docks and boat lifts on Lake Travis & Lake Austin.
Job is full time, Monday – Thursday, 7:00-5:00, and overtime on Fridays & Saturdays as needed. A typical week is 40 hrs. + 10-20 hrs. overtime. Overtime is time and a half, dive time is double time. Payroll is on the 1st and 15th of the month.
Preference is granted those with towing capable trucks for 24′ workboats and 20′ trailers. Mileage is compensated at $.60/mile (non-towing) and $1.20/mile (towing).
Benefits include Holiday Pay (60 hrs./year), and Vacation Pay (40 hrs./year), and a paid BCBS health plan.
