Overview

We are looking for an additional mechanical engineering technologist with minimum 5 years of dedicated experience working in a precision sheet metal facility doing sheet metal design and production supervision to work in our stainless steel welding and fabrication shop. We have a small shop so this is a very hands-on position which includes using the fabrication machinery but will also require above average skills in CAD (Solidworks) and CNC programming for our Trumpf punches. Must have experience in preparing shop floor production drawings. Knowledge of managing BOM’s, GD&T, ordering materials, sheet metal design, and implementing quality improvement processes is mandatory. Must have good communication skills to be able to deal directly with junior engineers and customers and be able to meet monthly sales and production targets. Any experience as a welder would be an asset.

Salary: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
