DI-MOND is a rapidly growing manufacturer, supporting the needs of the Canadian Market. We design and build top-quality, long-lasting heavy duty trailers. We are currently seeking qualified and highly motivated General Labourers to join our team. DI-MOND is located in Stoney Creek, Ontario.
We are looking for a highly qualified & motivated Maintenance/ Mechanical Fitter.
Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
– Maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing in fast paced environment
– Check machine in operation on a continual basis to detect problems; exercise judgement in exercuting necessary adjustments as required to maintain quality control standards.
– Analyze blueprints for mechanical systems to detemine the specifications of the components to be constructed
– Work from blueprints and operate machine shop equipment.
– Perform safety inspections, lubricate and make repairs or adjustments on machines when required.
– Keep accurate maintenance records and journals
– Work closely with operating colleagues to ensure that high quality products are produced while maintaining budgeted efficiencies.
– Knowledge and understanding of SOP’s and work instructions
– Understand, participate and support all safety programs, policies and initiatives within the manufacturing location.
– All other duties assigned by the assigned supervisor/ manager.

Education:
- Secondary School (required)
Experience:
- Welders: 5 years (required)
- millwright: 1 year (required)
- Pipefitters: 1 year (required)
