Mechanical Pipe Welder
Job Responsibilities
· Weld pipe ranging in size from 1/2″ up to 60″
- Cutting, beveling, and fitting pipe
- Perform load rigging, torch cutting, and leveling with use of measurement tools
- Operate grinder and wire wheel.
- Other duties as needed on the job sites.
Qualifications
MUST be able to pass a pipe welding test: Carbon Steel -6010 root w/ 7018 fill in 6g position.
- Ability to take detailed instruction.
- Positive “can do” attitude, strong work ethic and a team player.
- Good problem-solving abilities, communication skills, aptitude, and manual dexterity.
- Must be able to read & understand weld symbols, weld procedures, mechanical and structural drawings.
- Ability to use Oxy/fuel & Plasma hand cutting torch.
- Daily housekeeping of shop and/or work area.
- Flexible working schedule to support project needs.

$30

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Pipe Welding: 1 year (Preferred)
- Industrial construction: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver’s License (Preferred)
