Overview
The successful candidate will work on semi-trailers, mostly reefers, dry vans with some truck work. Fleetworx purchases damaged trailers, reefer units and trucks for repair. The majority of the work is fabrication, involving some welding, riveting, kemlite repair, suspension work, etc. On a daily basis preparing, fabricating and welding various metal constructions, components and structures is required. Dismantling and repairing trailer structures is the focus of the job. Performing detailed quality checks to ensure completed work meets all standards and requirements is essential. Documentation and record keeping of work and materials used is required.
