What you will do:
Organize plate room and ensure proper stock of steel
Gather steel from storage areas in facilities using forklift and overhead crane
Communicate with delivery personnel regarding new stock
Unloading and loading of trucks
Assist nesters, burn table operators and other staff with steel plate needs as necessary
Perform other duties as required
Your qualifications:
A minimum of one year of related experience
High school diploma
Crane & Rigging experience required, certification is an asset
Ability to operate Fork Lift, training may be provided
Knowledge of general safety practices
General knowledge of basic tools and equipment
Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
