JOB DUTIES AND TASKS
Duties / Essential Functions
· Safely set up and operate fabricating machines such as seam welder, spot welders, brakes, rolls, shears and presses.
· Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products.
· Design and construct templates and fixtures as required.
· Verify conformance of work piece to specifications.
· Accurately record production and scrap on daily work order.
· Work with engineering to design new parts or make changes to existing parts.
· Other tasks as assigned.
Skills, Experience and Educational Requirements
· Completion of High school, some college/vocational or related training.
· 2+ years related experience in a metal fabrication position.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Flexible and team orientated individual.
· Ability to handle repetitive physical demands (ie lifting up to 50lbs).
· Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment under pressure with ability to prioritize.
· Exceptional communication skills.
· Adherence to strict confidentiality.
