LOCATION: CALGARY AB
DEPARTMENT: OPERATIONS
DEPARTMENT CODE: 10
REPORTS TO: METAL FABRICATION MANAGER
PRIMARY ROLE:
Provides basic production work in the processing of metals for console components
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Basic sizing, drilling, and pre-finishing of metals
- Basic use of metal machinery and hand tools
- Follow metal operations schedule as required
- Basic equipment maintenance
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES:
- High school graduate
- Minimum 1 year in a manufacturing environment, ideally in a Metal Fabrication shop
- Safe working knowledge of pneumatic tools (grinder/die grinder)
- Good physical condition, able to stand for extended periods of time in a noisy work environment lift heavy
sheets of metal
- Eye for fit and finish, emphasis on ‘QUALITY’ and ‘WORKMANSHIP’
RELATIONSHIP/INTERACTION:
- Primarily members of the Metal Fabrication shop
WORK LOCATION/ENVIRONMENT:
- Position is based in Calgary AB
- Controlled, Clean Plant environment
- Two shifts 6 am- 2pm and 2 pm-10 pm
- Manufacturer

- Able to stand for extended periods of time on a concrete floor
- Potential, with notice of a shift change (infrequent but may occur)
