TAIMCO Inc. is seeking Metal Fabricator Shop Master and Supervisor with hands on tools for our Custom Fabrication metal shop.

The ideal Shop Master / Supervisor long experience in metal fabrication and forming with demonstrated integrity, customer focus, ability to lead the team in challenging situations, and to embrace change. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, can efficiently multitask, delegate, has exceptional communication skills, and the ability to succeed in a high degree of uncertainty and complex interactions. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of applying quality procedures and standards to ensure manufacturing processes meet customer requirements and meet company objectives.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate for the position will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Custom metal fabrication, forming , Cutting, bending, rolling, punching and welding to the drawings size.
  • Coordinate daily production floor activities and delegate assignments to production personnel.
  • Monitor Team work performance relative to quality and production requirements.
  • Visual weld and dimensional inspection.
  • High degree of attention to promoting a clean, safe work environment.
  • Educate and mentor Team on the requirements of applicable code(s) and standards.
  • Lead, follow, and embrace all the safety procedures.
  • Assist other personnel as required for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.
  • Distribute the work maintain delivery time or orders.
  • The Shop Supervisor required to be Hands on work and fabrication.

What You Will Need:

  • At least 10 years relevant industry fabrication experience.
  • At least three years of experience supervising fabrication projects.
  • At least three years of interpretation and application of technical documents.
  • At least three years of demonstrated working experience and proficiency with Microsoft. Office Suite (Word/Excel/Outlook).
  • Meet the physical requirements of the positions.

What Will Put You Ahead?

  • Extensive background in stainless steel fabrication.
  • Tig Welding, Aluminum Welding, Plasma Cut.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting, bending, stooping, standing, kneeling, squatting
  • Candidates must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., unassisted
  • Exposure to loud noises, fumes, sparks, vibrations, dust, dirt, irritants and smoke may occur
  • Position requires the ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Expected start date: 2022-01-17

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
