We are currently looking for Metal Fabricators to work at our Elie, Manitoba location. This roles’ responsibility will include, but are not limited to:
1-2 years Fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment.
New fabrications, repairs, custom fabrication, and structural construction.
Read, understand, and follow job order specifications, engineering drawings, and/or work orders.
Operate small hand tools, slings, grinders, cutting torch, and other hand tools related to the jobs needs.
Operate punch press, brake press, band saw, shear, lathe and other related metal forming and cutting equipment.
Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess scale and other materials from surfaces of metal products
To ensure equipment and tools are in good working condition, reporting maintenance services when required;
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Must work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations, Company rules, policies and procedures
Previous experience with 5S and Lean Manufacturing would be considered an asset
Other duties as assigned by the lead hand
Some overtime may be required.
MUST be willing to work at Elie, Manitoba
Hourly rate: $ 20.75 to $23.60 Depends on Qualifications.
Night Shift Premium: $2.20
