Job Title: Metal Fabricator/Welder

Job Purpose/Duties: In preparation for the plating process, designs, builds and repairs a wide range of tooling. This will require the use of various manual and power tools.
- Designs, builds, and repairs a wide range of tooling
- Maintains inventory of all materials used in the fabrication of tooling
- Maintains inventory of complete sets of tooling
- Assists production personnel in the design of new tooling to meet customer requirements and increase productivity
- Assists production in meeting production goals by finishing projects in a timely manner
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Specific Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Trade school education preferred
- 1- 2 years of relevant experience
- Previous experience in fabrication, welding and maintenance preferred
- Understand processes and process tooling requirements
- Understand safety rules and regulations to prevent unsafe set-ups, operations or acts which could cause injury to self, others or the environment
- Knowledge of lock-out, tag-out electrical safety
- Ability to lay out materials to build tooling with consistency
- Ability to work with hand and power tools
- Ability to weld and use torches, mig, tig, arc, safely
- Fluency in reading, writing and speaking the English language
- Basic math skills
- Ability to maintain a regular and reliable attendance record
- Ability to interact with co-workers and supervisors in a cooperative manner
- Ability to lift and move 1-70 lbs. as needed
Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Monday – Friday (OT as scheduled)
Pay Rate: $28.50 + (DOQ)
(Reviews: 60 days and 6 months, then twice a year, which can include a rate increase, provided the employee meets company and performance standards).
Signing Bonus: $5000 (current employees are not eligible for signing bonus)
