ABOUT US:

2000 Helical Design & Manufacturing is the leading company in the Foundation Repair Supply Industry for more than 25 years is looking for a Welder/Warehouse assistant for our Carrollton, TX location. This position requires a skilled individual, committed to Quality Control and eagerness to learn. Fast learner, able to resolve problems to ensure production goals are met, adherence to company policies, coordinates and work well with other team members/departments.

OVERVIEW:

2000 Helical Design & Manufacturing is looking to hire a full time “student” and/or experienced welder. Experience in welding not required, but helpful. Our company will train & assist you until you become a certified welder. Manufacture WIP parts on plasma table, plasma profiler, fit and fabricate steel components to assemble finished part, such as helical lead, extensions, and other manufactured components, using knowledge of machining work, welding techniques, and quality control methods.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Daily duties may include 70% welding , 10% assisting production processes, 20% learning new processes on other machinery in warehouse.

· Perform all welding work with help of forming and cutting equipment.

· Provide assistance to production process.

· Perform efficient welding of various metal objects using MIG.

· Analyze work order forms and specifications and cut all steel accordingly.

· Evaluate finished products and perform quality checks on products.

· Administer all welding activities such as welding small parts and finished products.

· Perform duties as assigned, following written and verbal instructions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Some MIG welding experience preferred

· Some warehouse experience preferred

· Some Auto CAD software experience preferred

· Forklift experience required

· Some Experience working with steel pipe, and steel plate.

· Display good judgment and decision-making ability

· Knowledge of standard shop/warehouse procedures

· Adhere to company’s safety practices

· Maintain an organized, clean work station

· Perform basic math calculations

· Able to lift up to 50lbs.

· Eagerness to learn

Monday to Friday 7am-4pm

Pay Frequency: WEEKLY

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 – $16.00 per hour
