Overview
This is a full-time 8:00 to 5:00 job. Starting Pay will be $18.00 per hour but could be higher for the right candidate. Bring your welding helmet; all other tools will be provided. You must have the willingness to learn and work overtime when required. Attention to detail is essential. In-house tolerance standards are maintained at 1/16th of an inch on finished products.
Job Duties
1. Must be able to read basic plans to fabricate metal frames for outdoor cabinets.
2. Cut steel to the required lengths to produce cabinets and support bars.
3. Weld bars together using 1” beads.
4. There will be other duties as assigned:
a. Welding Tabs onto Support Bars/Cabinet Frames
b. Grinding Welds on Support Bars/Cabinet Frames
c. Prepping and Cleaning Bars for Painting
d. Painting Bars
e. Forklift Operation
f. Drill Press Operation
g. Cutoff Saw (Blade) Operation
h. Other Duties as Assigned
