We design, program-manage, fabricate, source, retro-fit, repair/service, and breakdown/recycle all types of packaging – metal, plastic, foam, bags, bulk/standard bins and a variety of custom dunnage. Position Summary
The Production Welder/General Labourer position responsibilities include: production welding, service & repair welding, and fabricating metal structures using jigs/fixtures in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as MIG or plasma arc welding, oxy-acetylene welding
- Operate metal shaping machines such as metal straightening and bending machines
- Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and PakFab policies
Requirements
- 1 year of welding experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge and skill in operating metalworking machinery
- Read and understand production drawings, blueprints, and work orders
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude

Hours
Monday-Thursday ; 5:00pm – 4:00am
Salary
$22/hour + 15% night shift premium (equivalent to $25.30/hour)
Job Type: Full-time

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Aylmer, ON N5H 3H3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
