Aerotek, voted Best of Staffing for the last 7 years, is hiring entry to master-level MIG & TIG Welders to work with a local manufacturing company. If you are a Welder & Fabricator looking for your next opportunity or are looking to get into a trade (we will train!), we may be your home. **_We are now offering a $5000 hiring bonus!!_**
**Description:**
+ MIG and/or TIG welding 50-90% of the time on a combination of stainless steel and carbon steel (some aluminum); varying level of gauge steel from very thin, schedule 10, 1/4″ piping work.
+ Will be welding with foot controlled machines.
+ Setup fixtures as much as possible for welds off of blueprints, which will include cutting raw material to size.
+ Welding pipe to plate.
**Pay** : $18-28/hr. Depending on Experience
**Shift** : 1st & 2nd Available ($2/hr. differential for 2nd shift)
**Additional Skills:**
+ Blueprint Reading proficiency
+ MIG welding experience
+ TIG welding experience
+ Stainless steel and Carbon Steel welding experience
**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**
+ For MIG/TIG positions:
+ Must be able to TIG on stainless pipe (schedule 10 and as small as 1/4″ pipe)
+ Must be able to read blueprints
+ Must be able to pass x-ray tests (6G X-ray, 3/8” OD (.049 thin wall) and ??” Stainless Butt weld to ASME Standard)
+ Must be willing to MIG weld, operate fabrication equipment, help around the shop with duties
