Swegon is growing! We are looking for a full time permanent MIG Welder for our Markham/ Ajax Manufacturing and Head office location.

This is currently a 4 day shift – 40hrs per week working Monday to Thursday 6:00am – 4:30pm. Position includes Benefits & Bonus opportunities!

Job Summary & Requirements:

  • 2-3 years welding experience or recent graduate from a certified Welding Program
  • MIG welding experience (18 GA to 3/16”)
  • Able to do basic conversions from metric/imperial, fractions to decimals
  • Experience with a tape measure, calipers, protractors, squares
  • Able to take direction from the area lead and management
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Experience welding stainless & galvanized steel would be an asset!
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints
  • We will be testing light gauge to light gauge joint / butt and also light gauge to heavy gauge test plate
  • Position is subject to shift rotation.
