MIG Welder

Job Summary & Requirements

  • MIG welding experience (18 GA to 3/16”)
  • Ability to do basic conversions from metric/imperial, fractions to decimals
  • Experience with a tape measure, calipers, protractors, squares
  • Ability to take direction from the area lead and management as needed
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Experience welding stainless & galvanized steel would be an asset
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints
  • We will be testing light gauge to light gauge joint / butt and also light gauge to heavy gauge test plate
  • Position is subject to shift rotation.
  • Our schedule is Monday to Thursday 10 hrs/day – 6:00am – 4:30pm

Hourly Wage: $24.00/hour

(pls note during probationary time of 720 hrs wage is $23/hr, after probation it increases to $24/hr)

Required experience:

  • 2-3 years welding experience or will consider a recent graduate from a certified Welding Program
