Overview
Mobile Mechanical Fitter required for a fantastic opportunity to join a well recognised brand within the Engineering sector. Our client requires the successful candidate to have experience working in a heavy engineering/manufacturing environment. This role comes with a van and will include travelling to sites across the central belt. Dayshift/backshift position.
The Role:
- Fault finding and diagnostics in emergency breakdown or planned situations
- Working with a planned maintenance system and reactive maintenance
- Modification and improvement of machinery and the plant
- Willing to travel across sites to improve maintenance functionality of each factory
The Candidate:
- Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills,
- Heavy engineering/manufacturing environment experience required
- Apprentice trained/HND or equivalent qualification
- Needs to have welding and fabrication experience
