We are currently looking to add a Mobile Welder/Installer to our team!

We are searching for a professional and driven employee to start a full-time, permanent position at Brent’s Welding and Fabrication Inc.

Brent’s Welding and Fabrication is a fast-growing business offering services in Ontario. This is the perfect opportunity to get onboard with a fast-growing company with multiple career advancement opportunities. Some of your day-to-day tasks will include the following:

  • Fabrication and welding of the following but not limited to: structural steel, beams/columns, handrails/guardrails, welding repair, and other projects.
  • Mobile on site welding/installing and in shop fabrication.
  • Setup, proper maintenance and operation of welding and installation equipment including tele-handlers, boom lifts, scissor lifts.
  • Inspection, operation, and compliance of safety equipment, machinery, tools, and workspace.

What skills, assets, and experience we require:

  • Minimum three years of fitting experience.
  • Minimum three years of welding experience.
  • Minimum three years mobile welding experience.
  • All position SMAW ticket.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications with little to no assistance.
  • Willingness to learn new skills.
  • Able to work solo or with a team in a fast paced environment.
  • Forklift,AWP, working at heights experience or tickets considered an asset.
  • Own safety equipment (including but not limited to welding helmet, CSA safety boots, welding attire).
  • Own personal hand tools (including but not limited to angle grinder).

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
