JD Welding Inc. is growing! The company requires a Lead Hand – Mobile Welding Service employee. We are expanding a mobile welding service and we work in small independent teams and the success of that team and therefore, you and JD Welding, will be the direct result of your knowledge, experience and ability to support and empower your co-workpers in being the best they can be as we grow even further.
Duties include on site repairs and maintenance of plants including but not limited to, welding in liner plates, repairing and patching bins and hoppers, conveyor maintenance and guarding, fabrication and installation of walkways handrails and landings, teardown and erection of portable equipment.
JD Welding Inc. covers a large area servicing customers all over Ontario. Successful applicants must have at least 5 years expereience, be willing to be constantly on the go, work independantly and make decisions.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in SMAW welding, cutting with oxy propane, confined space work, be mechanically inclined, able to lift 100 lbs. and able to work outdoors in all weather.
Compensation is very competitive based on experience.
