Onyx Mechanical Ltd. is an Edmonton-based mechanical contracting firm that has been providing full mechanical installations for the past 20 years. Onyx has been involved in a large number of commercial, institutional, industrial, design-build and LEED projects across Central and Northern Alberta.
Now hiring Journeyman Welders for projects based in Edmonton.
Qualifications and skills required:
· Valid class 5 driver’s license
· Registered Journeyman B Pressure Welder
· Experience in commercial and/or institutional construction required
· Experience in school construction an asset
· Mechanical room experience an asset
· Physical ability to complete tasks required in the field including heavy lifting
· Take pride in work and have attention to detail
· Ability to take direction from others as well as take initiative and have foresight to think ahead independently
· Safety and training certificates an asset
