CEC is looking to expand our team! We are looking for people with a positive attitude and a desire to learn and expand/develop their career with a growing company.

Our Company: CEC is a growing company based out of Kamloops, BC providing services throughout British Columbia and Alberta. Our company has a fleet of mobile cranes and industrial equipment that we use for hoisting and installing heavy equipment and structures, specializing in bridge building and rehab. We work in the industrial construction sector. We provide mobile crane services as well as all components of bridges, piling, fabrication, and jack & rolls. At CEC, we believe safety comes first above all. Our goal is to use our skills and field knowledge combined with safe work practices, to provide quality crane and construction services to our community.

The Position: As our company is growing, so will our team! We are currently looking to fill various positions in the company. We are looking for people who have experience as Skilled Labourers, Mobile Crane Operators, Welder/Fabricators, Riggers, Bridgemen, and Class 1 Drivers. This is an open job posting calling out to all individuals who have skills in any, or all, of these trades or are interested in developing skills for a career in these fields. Our industry requires a lot of cross over trades, and having more than one trade, or the desire to learn, would be a large asset.

This position will be a permanent, full-time position as we are looking to build skills and form careers for our employees. Though we take on projects all around the province, this job will be based out of Kamloops, but some travel/field work may be required depending on the position. We are looking for people who are local or are interested in relocating to the Thompson-Nicola Valley to start their career with CEC.

Anyone with any combination of the following experience, skills or qualifications may be considered for these open positions:

· Mobile crane operating

· Welding

· Ironworking

· Class 1 driver’s license

· Heavy haul or Air Brake license endorsements

· Bridge building

· Cast-in-place concrete and concrete formwork

· Heavy equipment operating

· Heavy equipment mechanics and maintenance

· Rigging

· Skilled or specialized labour

· Pile driving

· Earthworks

· Creek diversions and waterworks

· Jack & rolls

Any combination of the above would be an asset to our team!

Wages for these positions will be dependent on experience level.
