S&C is continuing to grow. Where do you come in? We are looking for a talented CNC Operator who has a passion for innovation, keen eye for detail, enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to helping us become a leader in our industry. This opportunity is on the day shift: Monday to Thursday 6 am to 4 pm.
As an CNC Operator , you will:
Set up, adjust and operate CNC machine according to work orders and specifications
Use manual pump trucks, cranes (over head / jib) and lift devices as required to move material and finished product(s)
Monitor machine operation and perform trouble shooting tactics when necessary
Ensure parts are manufactured in accordance with quality standards, target plans and verify correct run quantities
Maintain cleanliness of work area and follow organizational practices
Strives for continuous improvement in all aspects of the work environment
troubleshoot and resolve issues as required
Other duties as assigned
We are looking for someone who has:
Minimum 1 year of experience as a CNC Machine Operator
Minimum 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read an imperial tape measure and blueprints
Excellent mechanical/mathematical aptitude and manual dexterity
Good communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
Attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with minimal supervision
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
