Overview

Candidates must living close to our facility in order to commute to and from work and be able to attend an in person interview to be considered.

Experienced welder/fitter required for busy manufacturing organization in the Port Kells area of Surrey. Candidates must be able to attend an in person interview to be considered. Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in both welding and fitting. Trade certification preferred (Red Seal), but equivalent experience will be considered. Must have good verbal and written communication skills and must be able to work independently with little supervision. Applicants must have proficiency with aluminum and stainless TIG welding. Duties will include:

: Operation of a orbital welder

· Operating manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic welding equipment

· Interpreting welding process specifications

· Reading and interpreting welding blueprints, drawing specifications, manuals and processes

Must have a valid BC Driver’s license and be available for either day or night shift.
