Overview

Company Overview: Texas Pile, LLC (previously Signor Enterprises and TX Pile, LLC) was founded in 1979 by Rusty Signor originally as a custom home builder then evolved to a dock builder and pile driver over the past 40+ years. The current focus of Texas Pile is as a pile driving and marine subcontractor in Central Texas.

The current owner, Clayton Signor, joined in 2007 with degrees in Civil Engineering and Construction Management from Vanderbilt University. Clayton immediately started presenting to local structural and geotechnical engineers on design and applications for driven piles in local soil conditions. Eventually Clayton based his master thesis at University of Texas at Austin on Driven Piles in Central Texas Expansive Soils to further help the marketing efforts to increase the adaption of driven piles.

Over the past decade, there have been a number of large and complicated commercial projects and the company’s goal is to continue to grow the commercial driven pile market and to target the retaining systems market, namely large profile sheet piles and soldier pile/lagging.
