Overview
Core Responsibilities:
Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW)
Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)
Stainless/carbon steel pipe welding: (1/2” Ø to 12” Ø)
Pipe fitting skills largely preferred
Steelwork – Measure, cut, and weld/fabricate various frames and piping supports
Copper work piping fabrication – Brazing (1/4” Ø to 3-1/8” Ø) experience preferred
Skills Desired:
· GTAW/SMAW TSSA 6G Pipe Test Certificate
· Ability to interpret scaled drawings.
· Brazing experience (TSSA certification preferred).
· Arc, mig, & tig welding experience.
· Pipefitting experience.
· Light machining (mill, lathe, grinder).
· Excellent English communication skills.
· Metal fabrication experience.
· Knowledge of HVAC/refrigeration equipment (preferred).
· Knowledge of quality control procedures.
· Ability to work unsupervised
Education Required:
· Experience in one of the following categories is an asset: Welding Techniques. &Welding Certifications
· References to be provided.
