Overview
Centerline (Windsor) Limited is looking for a self-motivated, reliable individual to fill the position of Pipe Fitter in Training responsible for assisting the Lead Pipe Fitters’ while training and developing the skills of a Pipe Fitter. This position reports to the Pipe Fitting Build Group Leader.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with assembly and installation of pipe/tubing/hose for air, water, and gas systems
Assemble main air and water drops and run supply lines to equipment from main drops
Help tube or hose fixtures, material handlers, robots, weld guns, conveyors, and more
Responsible for learning table bending, hand bending, thread pipe, groove pipe, PVC pipe, layouts, and component assembly
Assist the pipe fitter on component assembly and installation of valves, regulators, filters, pressure switches, manifolds, and other fittings
Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine layout requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Secondary School diploma
Mechanical aptitude
Experience in blueprint reading, measurement, problem resolution
